Deadlock detected

After the 0.4 update I've been getting a popup message that says "Deadlock detected" and then the game crashes.

Got the same message, found out if you don't click the ok, the game loads, if that helps, but hope it gets fixed soon

Got it as well.
Gonna repeat what the person above said that not hitting "OK" will let the game boot up like normal. However, I waited for the main menu to load then clicked OK which closed the game. Booting back up didn't give me the deadlock popup this time. Weird, but it's whatever. PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.
Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build! And the winds will cry / and many men will die / and all the waves will bow down / to the Loreley |

I have the same issue; I can't even change video settings without a 'deadlock detected' error. I could play just fine last season.

same here, I've been trying to launch the game since early morning and it didnt work

Same problem for me. "Deadlock detected" anytime I load the character since I started Clearfell.
