I'm a CI Guardian using your build and I like the part where I don't die often, so I'd like to improve on that, could you give me some pointers on how to achieve that?


I'm skimming pages on the thread day by day but it's still hard for me to know where to go from now on.

EDIT 2 : I really enjoy the idea of having this build and being invincible or close to that, if that helps give you an idea of what I want to do with it.

The best improvements to tankyness are:

1) Get some more skill efficiency on clusters, helmet eldritch implicit, anoint charisma, etc, squeeze in flesh and stone.

2) Many more smaller alternatives before are in the compilation "flat dr" in "checklist stats" on page 443: enfeeble, infused channeling, taste of hate, etc.

3) Get purity of ice on a Merc (Frost Hand or Winter Deacon), raise elemental resis to 88-89% with melding of the flesh.

Get Kaom's binding on merc and Runegraft of the Fortress and for mapping of the Soulwick.

4) Or try further out: Get "unaffected by poison" on rare boots, turn hybrid life+es, get a b.i.s. watcher's eye with doubled recovery or also a third mod. (Then also a b.i.s. 2 auras merc discipline+purity of ice fits).

Hello, thank you for the reply, I've been working on my Guardian HoA CI for a few days with your tips, and have been making good progress, I think it's solid but I think I should invest more into the next cluster of voices for max agony, but I don't wanna drop too much defensive layers, I don't even hit the poison cap yet I think.. Lol

I'd appreciate it if you could criticize my tree and give me tips on how to keep the idea of staying overly defensive for juiced mappings but also having the defensive layers at the same time (sole reason I went guardian lol)

I'd like to not reroll and keep praising the arachnophobia lord and keep this char but shifting the tree around is kinda tricky, but I think I'm doing alright-ish for now ^^


My best option would be MB, no?

Maybe you got the perfect idea of tankyness/dps balance that I don't, cuz I might be overdoing it xD
