Same with the boots. I usually have more trouble with them.

Always use the Vorici simulator website. It calculates the most efficient way to recolor any item.

For off-color four-links, force-color the first two sockets with 25 chromatic, then use the crafts for 2, 3 and 4 sockets to roll the third, then fourth socket individually. You'll use a lot less jewellers then you would use Chromatics, and they're cheaper.
