For melee you must have - fix phys dmg - % phys damage - leech - lightning - + skill level And now check the status effect damages top tier is always lightning - shock. +20% extra any source. Thats just a huge boost. With enough you even give a hard cc Ignite, poison and bleeds is just extra dot. Endgame dots are useless. You cant even afford to l;et enemies live for 2 seconds, and most dots are 5 seconds. If an enemy lives that long, you wont be able to see it. They get benefits because they power up a skill that gives extra dmg against enemies with it. Cold damage is #2 pick, because a hard cc is beneficial endgame. If the enemy cant move, that's just gives you time. Seems warriors "op endgame mechanic" is: Leap slam - shield charge... This two attack usually builds up the first stun bar so you have time to destroy them. If your stats are aligned with the enemies, instead of stun, it will be prime to stun, so you can use the wonky Boneshatter, but most people take that skill off, because its too easy to "miss" that prime status (even thorn can stun the enemies... ) I guess some even build honorless (extra dmg against immobilized targets) That way easier to burst down enemies. And this funnels gamestyle towards glasscannons. I still hate when Mark said, players don't like tanky playstyle, everyone plays glasscannon. NO! Just tankyness is actively punished. Endgame is just hard cc - nuke the screen before they can do anything. And same mechanics goes for us players too. As soon we get shocked, stunned or frozen we die too. |

" Bleed works just fine, that's what I am doing on the side with the slams. The issue is the INCOMING lightning damage (and cold to some extent). Life in general is just very weak compared to es.
Ontop of that armor is extremely weak aswell, and evasion doesnt work against alot of boss/slam attacks. Its just unfortunately very poorly balanced atm. " I don't really have issues with physical damage (except Rattlegore's triple growing AoE is ridiculous if you happen to leap in while he does it -> guaranteed death to physical damage), even with the +10% additional physical damage reduction from Jade on top. My only issue is lightning damage which is completely overtuned. I have currently 3.3k health and 79% lightning resist, normal lightning wraiths in maps that have no extra damage of any sort of resistance penalty can hit for over 50% of my health pool in a single projectile. That is just stupid. I keep running with Defiance Banner with Refraction to more steadily manage vs elemental rares/magic packs. Leaping in to elemental casters that happen to hit you while you are mid air just disintegrate you...
