Where is the balance?
I want to say that this is not just a criticism of the patch. Rather, I even think that the patch has benefited the game. Yes, it is far from perfect and there is something to work on, but what happened before? Killing any boss with 2-3 hits using ice? Energy shields under 20k? Virtually indestructible builds, and vice versa, builds with an attack rate of several million per second? This kind of game can be fun, but not for long. She will have no future, because she is absolutely broken.
But that's not the question. The question is, why delete one thing and do almost the same thing, what's the point? Or is the vision of the developers that everyone needs to play using only one skill and pressing only one button? At the same time, having no problems with either survival or attack. Dedicating most of the time to balance at this stage when 1/5 of the game is there is some on-spectrum activity.
And there is no balance whatsoever still, too. They are balancing-balancing, balancing-balancing, and making it worse and worse with every pass, then go back to the beginning every patch. |

Because a lot of people just follow guides and now the Huntress is the new class so everyone is playing it...it's like when a new xpak get released with new classes and races in a game, what do you expect will happen? As for Balance, it's cooking right now and they plan to make things as balanced as possible for the 1.0 release.

The new hero was conceived as an interesting character with new mechanics, and as a result we got a one-button unbalanced misunderstanding. It's like making a kill-all button in a build. You click right next to the checkpoint, and it goes to the next map.
As I wrote above, the main problem is that it practically kills any interest in playing in teams. I'm interested in playing with a warrior, a monk, a mercenary, even a lich and a sniper, but as soon as the spear comes into play, the game turns into a one-button kill-all shooter. | |
