A Simple Poll - Exp Loss on Death

+1
I have already put in my +1 earlier. Let me just say that hopefully they will provide us some massive buffs for defense and offense in the upcoming patch. This should in turn help reduce the amount of deaths in endgame....hopefully =\

Luckily GGG is too smart to give into these nonsensical demands made by a small but vocal minority.

I'm so tired of seeing ppl using the "only a minority wants that" card when it's literally the opposite lol

It's fine if you don't agree with something, but trying to manipulate the narrative to make your opinion seem more valid is crazy

This post has more than 300+ replies, this is one the most debated topics in the poe 2 community, if you pass through the comments you'll see that most ppl don't like losing exp when they die, if that's actually a good or bad thing isn't important rn, the actual literal fact is that the majority of people don't like to losing exp, and that's that.
Not just 300 replies. If you combine different threads, I bet there are 4 most discussed topics with both poe games:

- technical issues in various forms
- build disparity in various forms
- progression rollbacks in 2 forms: limited instance access and exp penalty
- trade drawbacks in various forms

Forum search can show this is the actual majority, not "NOICE" posts. And those 4 topics have 1 thing in common: GGG hadn't resolved any of it in a decade. No wonder people who supported the game hoping for future improvements go toxic.

c) Go play Animal Crossing instead.

c) Animal Crossing is an awesome game, maybe you should give it a try to calm your nerves a bit?

It's a great game, I'm just not sure it's the right fit for people complaining about the exp penalty.

If they close the game without saving in order to erase a mistake, like how they want to minimize the value lost to a death...not only do they have to redo everything up until they made that mistake, they're also forced to listen to Mr. Resetti drone on and on! Not respectful of their time at all, tsk tsk.

...looking it up, apparently the reset-punishing isn't a part of New Horizons due to auto-save. Kind of sad, in a way.
+1. They should change it to 3% if not go a way. Or 10% loss xp of the map it's opened.

a) Decide to compete in the ladder and actually put effort into reaching levels past 90.

b) Realize that levels past 90 are optional and provide almost no additional character power, so they can stop caring about EXP at this point.

c) Go play Animal Crossing instead.

a) That's what it boils down to. The no-lifers want their bragging rights in a ladder that means absolutely nothing to the majority of players or the actual gameplay.

b) False, completely depends on the build and your opinion on why people shouldn't care is irrelevant. If the points don't matter to you then you have no reason to have an opinion either way.

c) I've been playing Elden Ring. I can recover all my xp on death and combat is engaging and meaningful. Even From Software knows XP loss with no recovery is a stupid idea.
