then whats the point of glass cannon and leroy jenkins builds? this game is about experimetation, not about being punished from getting away from pawed road of meta builds

XP loss can go die the death it deserves.

If not at least put a damn combat log to show how much dmg a player took and what type of dmg it was.

My rage deaths are all in the WTF just happened, no effect on screen BS variety. Show me some data to review if this is how its gonna be.

The reason they dont provide the combat log is purely because it would generate 100 page threads of whining why a white mob just did 15k dmg!

Experiment just after leveling up if you're concerned about xp loss?

If glass cannon builds become viable in all content than defensive builds become subpar in all content.

Imo, If theres no punishment for lacking survivability no one would invest in it. And without the death tax, reaching the desired level relies solely on a time commitment, removing most tactics/skill from gaining levels.

In Diablo II: Lord of Destruction (D2: LoD), when a character dies in Nightmare or Hell difficulties, they lose a percentage of the total experience required to reach the next level. In Nightmare, the loss is 5% of the total experience required, while in Hell, it is 10% of the total experience required.
100% get rid of it. It wastes all of our time. Makes the game way less fun overall. I'm willing to bet those player numbers are down because of the death penalty. Who wants to waste their timeon a unfinished game which we're testing for them and their response is to kick us in the nuts every time. You can't get anywhere in this game as long as that penalty exists.

Looks overwhelmingly that people want XP loss removed or made optional.
