" Noticed it myself the last couple of days. Died a few times. - Comboed by those freezing bubbles on the floor + purple bubbles/whips - those god damn whips :D - one-shot by big-ass white mob - plainly just purple bubbles hitting me Nothing that couldn't have beed avoided. I just didn't pay attention. Altough the freeze+purple bomb cost me like 30% exp, because I had to be greedy and try it a few times. But am I blaming the game? No. Blaming myself. I didn't die because something was totally OP. I died because I was stupid. I bet aaaaall those other people die the same way (excluding obvious bugs/lag) and just blame the game, because it's easier than just admitting that it's their own fault. " Okay fine, you're the Master of running from volatile plants. Who pretends hard to not understand what the point was. Point was: with such bloated calculus as poe2, considering the list of mechanic bugfixes to this day, how would you estimate remaining mechanic bugfixes amount? What else is broken under the hood? Punishing game cannot afford to be a bugged game. So either stop calling this release the EA or stop treating it like a full non-beta release. White knights switch between the two whenever discussion suits them:) While GGG delivering penalties before quality is the same level of hypocrisy as poe trade system. (3rd party tools are forbidden by ToS, but everyone and their bot use 3rd party tools to trade, with GGG looking the other way.) |

" Exp penalty is a player problem because player decided to play the game in the first place? When you put it like that, yeah, I have to agree, lol. Patch day passes in a day, and numerous bad mechanics are still not fixed. " If you were actually serious with that player problem point, fine, here goes... Of course there exist a portion of players who do not pay attention to challenges provided by the game (writing this I understand the participation trophy guy above, lol). This is true for every game, even nowhere near soulslike. Thus it provides a good latch point for a white knight to pretend everyone who struggles with reaching level 100 is a fool. Only problem is, any 3rd party poe ladder website shows level 100 is way less common than your theory would explain. Once, I've reached level 100 in poe1 with a glass cannon character which didn't even have the cannon/dps by poe1 standards. And without 5way service too. It was interesting experience. And problem is way beyond "noob-only". Looking forward to see your parade of lvl 100 character in your newly-unhidden profile. |
