Fully agree with this.

I've some boots with great "other" stats, but because they've no movement speed boost I wouldn't even consider using them.

Playing with 20%+ movement speed vs. playing without... simple choice. It's an unmissable implicit defensive stat to be able to move quickly and re-position, and to boot, a huge QoL improvement for general travel.
Wanderlust solves any speed issues for non-pathfinders.
Guys you don't get it, they wont increase base MS until at least the campaign is finished and they can see how much time it takes to complete it.
They can't have people rush into endgame and realize its still bad, so they want to make cam(pai)g(n) slower. Specially for new players that don't realize what they are getting into.

Faster base MS / boots/ whatever = Faster gameplay = if the game isn't good enough (which it still isn't) then people will leave the game faster.


Only thing i can think of is another Atlas full of +Life/+MS/+ Skill levels /+quality of skills or other things current atlas doesn't have, and getting points after killing specific bosses in campaign and/or maps.

I'm not saying it will be perfect, but imo there are so many things lacking buffs that the only way they could do it without breaking their vision is another Atlas fix
Nah, we don't need base MS. That would make characters zoom much too fast at 30% Base + 35% Boots + Skills.

Instead, boots need to have MS as an implicit that scales with item level, just like charm slots for belts now.

Top end boots should always have at least 30% MS.
After the shrine duration change, I dont think ill ever spec out of +shrine duration. That haste shrine is huge.

We clearly need more Base MS for all class...

20 to 30 % more base will be perfect.
Reduce the Dodge roll by the amount that would make sense, so its not too easy to dodge everything. Just like when you dont have MS boots atm

And if you could put Implicit MS on all boots instead of a random roll , that would be another step in the right direction, just like the Charm slot on belt.

Its not that slow is not good , but it feel way better when its faster.

Too fast might be a problem , maybe do a Diminishing return curve on MS, like magic find.

This game is already very good , that detail will make it even better.

Or MS benefit should be only out of combat.

Its one of those cursed stats that you can have the full lottery in mods if one of them isn't 25%+ MS the item is garbage.

Same as weapons:
you need +phys damage, +% phys damage, + skill level + lightning
if one of them is missing you just bin the item.

Belts:
less than 3 charm slot? It can have the absolute best tier stats, you NEED those charms...
