Short and Sweet why this game isn't something I can play long term
Trade absolutely KILLS my enjoyment of this game. Knowing the game is designed and balanced around other people trading for insane gear sucks all the wind out of so many of our sails.
Why should i even bother playing? I can play SSF sure, but in a month of time I will be weaker than someone who spends a single day trading for stuff. This singular issue ruins the entire game in so many ways, makes everything I'm accomplishing feel meaningless, makes engame content more important to create, it spreads dev in weir directions where you guys are trying to create mass content when it shouldn't even be necessary but you're just allowing players to bypass mass content for seemingly no good reason other than "Trade needs to be in the game?. Why? This feeds into streamers and many others who burn out of the game quickly. Word gets around that "the game doesn't have enough end game." Streamers stop playing, the hype dies off very fast. I don't understand why this is a thing. It defies all logic. You guys spent years making a great game with lots of content and you let people just trade past all of it. Because so many people are able to trade and burn out on the game very fast, this feeds into the larger depiction of the game. Trade just inherently makes the experience worse, for everyone, for those in SSF they feel gimped, and for those actually trading, they race through the game to endgame and it just becomes meaningless. I have no idea why you guys do this to your game. You leave this massive problem in and it absolutely WRECKS the enjoyment of everyone. All to hang on to some antiquated notion that somehow a small group of elite traders preying on the larger base needs to be some core part of the game. WHY!? I just don't get it. This game could be so much better, but for some reason you guys leave trade in. It's akin to leaving debug tools enabled in your game on accident in a public build. I don't get it. 最後に crazyfingers619#3901 が 2025/06/08 3:53:24 に編集 最後にスレッドがバンプされた時間 時刻 2025/06/08 15:04:36

Quick addition.
I'm REALLY enjoying the game since the patch. Even found a usable unique for a short bit. Getting the hang of warrior and excited for the future, but the ramifications of trade really sucks a lot of the fun out of it. Would be a more enjoyable experience if streamers were having a better time, everyone wasn't catapulting through lategame and all that jazz. |

This game transform to Souls ARPG for people without life.
Not enjoyable at all. |

" The game feels like it was made by highly productive people for highly unproductive people lol.. I know that can be said of any game, but I think its uniquely true for this game. I have been spending way too much time playing it and wondering why. Its a beautiful game. But damn its slow and painful to play. ZERO things to look forward to, but I want to love it so much. |

" Brother, if you can't even play SSF without thinking about what others are doing, this isn't a game problem. This is a therapy problem. Edit.: Also, it seems to me that you kinda don't get how trade works... To get something of value, you need to have something of value to offer. We are not here getting the best stuff overnight and in one sit. Trade helps but is not that easy as you think... 最後に Rishon#0212 が 2025/06/08 7:16:17 に編集

I don't need therapy "brother"
What sort of strange ass comment is this? You disagree about trade so it's straight to concern trolling? Grow up. You're the one with the comprehension problem if you can't fathom the broad negative reach trade has on the game space. |

" Is not trolling. Im serious. If you can't enjoy a game that offers to you an option to play completely solo because you are too worried about how fast others are achieving what they want, than YES, you have a problem. And that problem isn't a dev problem. Its a personal problem that you need to fix. And I say more... My brother, didn't you stop to think that a team with way more knowledge and experience that we will ever have, hasn't stop to think about the influence of trading in their game? I mean, THEIR GAME. They created this and are on their second game. The game has trade for a reason. Of course the system still have flaws. Im not here to glaze the trade system. Just to make you think that maybe the way you want stuff to be isn't what is the best for the community, could be good just for you. And for this the game already gave you a solution: SSF. 最後に Rishon#0212 が 2025/06/08 7:46:16 に編集

" So, you have a trade game, and a solo game. You expect a single player to get the same loot as the masses? And you don't think that is ridiculous? You think that you are entitled to more stuff than a guild that passes gear? I won't go as far as you needing therapy for an inferiority complex, because there are ways to buff ssf loot, but it isn't necessary. There is no need to worry about the other modes. |

The entire point of sport, of gaming, is to have rules, by which we play so that the game has meaning.
The moment you allow people to "help" guildmates, the moment you allow people to trade, to break the delicate balance of the game, the rob people of the fun of experiencing the game. There is a reason new servers are considered fun, there is a reason why fresh servers have lots of draw. It's because the hand crafted fun of the game, untained by trade is the superior experience. You guys need to get a grip. I merely suggested that trade robs players of enjoyment of the game. For all these assertions of others needing mental help, maybe it's time you look inward if a simple discussion about trade sends you into such a tizzy. |

" My dude, you are in a game that calls itself the "spiritual successor of Diablo II", a game that has trade. Trading is in the core of the game, in the core of the experience. - You kill monster - You get loot - You use the loot or trade it with another person in exchange for something you want You could disagree with how trade is done and would be ok. But trade is part of what the game is. |
