I dont know why they decided to release this in EA if they had zero intention of listening to the feedback of the community.

POE 2 is a MUCH larger game that POE 1, and with POE 1, they had the luxury of getting the game into a maintainable state before they could release quaterly leagues.

They are also having to deal with the fact that their core audience, the POE 1 crowd are resistant to a game with challenge, which is the core design philosophy surrounding the game. So they've had to turn on a dime and build that game up to try to catch that audience.

What do you guys want? You've screamed INCESSANTLY that you want zoom zoom, and you will destroy this company and game by any means necessary to get it.

So they backpeddld and started building back up POE 1 seeing the massive pushback on this game. Once their primary game is sustainable, I'd imagine they will focus back onto poe 2. They likely burned the hell out trying to mee tthe last milestone and put out patches only to have this community make threads such as this one.

Honest question do you guys ever read over these posts and think how just absolutely awful they are?

Games are not easy to make, especially ambitious big games with revolutionary mechanics like this one.

Online action games like POE 2 are notorious for having server issues around launch or huge revisions. And you don't know the unique problems they are suffering having to upkeep 2 games at once, while also being under mass DDOS attacks, to say nothing about this insolent culture that has emerged in recent years.

I don't say this lighly, this community is far and away the worst part of the game. You THINK it's nerfed skill, you THINK it's just finicky servers that are impeding your enjoyment.

In all actuality it's a mass psychosis that has gripped this game. And you know what caused this? GGG was WAY to nice to you guys for WAY too long. For a time this community was amazing, it was deserving of respect. But that's changed, that's changed BIG TIME.

GGG spoiled you guys, the have given you the notion that as the customer, you are always right, even when you're acting totally ridiculous. [Removed by Support] making it your mission to destroy this game, and to spiral all sentiments towards it into something that isn't true just to satiate your little needs for a tantrum. It's embarrassing, it's ungrateful, and it's undeserved.

This is how you treat these guys busting their ass and doing everything in their power to communicate with you? We've all seen the behind the scenes videos, this is a company staffed with down to earth, hard working and passionate people. Not only are they out of their depths dealing with this wave of resentments and spite, but they are totally undeserving of it.

Open dialogue and fun communication used to fit this game, it was part of the fun, part of the driving forces behind this game. You guys balled that up and lit it on fire. And now you'd demanding accountability from GGG?

The notions that this game SHOULD be a zoomers paradise, the notion that everyone is just entitled to reach late game with any build, is snowballing on itself.

Many of us are not here to partake in your hate campaign, many of us actually really friggin' like POE 2. And we are sick to death of you jack offs making it your life's mission to crap on it, and gaslight every issue into some melodramatic nonesense.

Server issues and innovative new online games are nothing new.

POE 2 is WAY more fun and playable than any of you give it credit for.

And in order to properly fix this game, GGG need to go against the tidal waves of all the whiners and actually curtail a lot of snowballing power and right click builds.

That said on the flip side I do think it's a bit too restrictive to find working builds PARTICULARLY in survivability. But that's as simple as rescaling a few formulas and adding a few nodes early on in the skill tree and making certain item mods a bit more common to boost players ability to survive.

Anyway, getting off topic.
