Why did you stop playing the game?

I played it twice after launch. Once to see if I liked it (I didn't) and once to check later if it was better (it wasn't).

I don't want 'meaningful combat'. I want my minions to do the damage and shield me. This is clearly not GGG's intention for POE2.

Difficulty? I got wiped 5 seconds after meeting my first mob bunch.

Difficulty? Even minor quest bosses took too long to kill.

Fun? Kiting, kiting, dodging, dodging. Pah!

Graphics look pretty, but gameplay doesn't say (to me) 'just one more go and I can get this guy'.

Didn't reach any kind of endgame, so nothing to say there.

I just knew within a few hours that this game wasn't for me.

I have been playing another game whose name initials are LE.
It felt like I was going into work.
i quit the season because ive done all of the content and character got to a point where i was 1 shotting tier 4 pinnacle bosses.

The tedium of working with trade site to beef the towers and juice maps became very very chore-ish to the point i just didn't want to log in anymore.

Never thought the game was "too tough", the biggest pain point for me is the chore of using the trade site and messaging so many people just to juice maps properly.

The game is REALLY fun, I love it actually and GGG is cookin with it.
This season I actually got my character to wear over 300 divines in worth of gear and felt the true min max which was amazing.

However, the trade site is a huge thorn, that alone makes me not want to play because of how time consuming it is.

I forgot to give away all my divines and gear though cuz too lazy to sign in lol

Trading is inexcusable.

Sorc and witch are not fun after the update. I dont care if they were broken. Now they are unplayable.

Yeah, an AH or some form of trading automation (such as being sent the item in-game after buying it directly on the trade website) won't ruin the economy anymore than it already is.

Depending on players being unwilling/unable to trade their posted items (for the posted prices) is a terrible design and an equally terrible excuse for economy management.
They nerved my minion build with 0.2
Stopped in January because endgame was awful back then. It's a bit better now, with many new QoL features, but...

* For some reason PoE 2 endgame feels exhausting (huge maps, bad map layouts, too dense atlas, low power level of SSF chars when you enter maps). It's actually tiring to play maps, compared to PoE 1.

* Very limited and tedious crafting / can't find upgrades (SSF)

* EA characters will be voided, so no point in investing lots of time

Game is improving, but there is still a long way to go (I don't expect 1.0 before 2027 tbh).

I quit 2 weeks maybe even less into 0.2.

ARPG needs build diversity, everyone was playing javazon.
Due to no build diversity, market was born dead.
Everyone follows Fubgun, whatever he equips get insanely expensive in market, we need more build creators in PoE 2.
Uniques are garbage other than few, they are the only things that worth money. Therefore so many people rushing those contents only, resulting in many bots in market.
Juicing with towers felt like a job, it was exhausting to do it after awhile.
They promised 0.2 will be focused on actively balancing but they were scared to do it when the season was live. Absolutely no balancing happened, resulted in one build season only.

All these things made me quit, I did not find acts were that hard personally even tho I know majority of them felt like a slog. But yeah overall it was a bad season, hopefully all will be fixed in 0.3
1 new content was not given at the dawn of the hunt
2 all the fun builds were completely killed
3 they gave 1 super build against which the rest are crap
4 servers and constant rollbacks generally kill the desire to play
I don't think that 0.3 will be better - their vision of a slow game did not work, and the game can't play fast - too unstable
