Why did you stop playing the game?

The game is tedious on purpose and Jonathan keeps doubling down on this to the point where I cannot trust his "vision" to make a good game. [Removed by Support]

Quit 3 times, last time for good I think. 2 SSF and 2 normal characters. It's been my choice not to trade because that is an option. My experiences have been from using the mechanics of the game.

The total lack of control over upgrading gear made me quit, no real crafting or upgrading system. It happened to every one of my characters in end-game. I'd fall behind in damage and there was no real way to get/make better gear. No matter how many maps I did, no matter how much I gambled at vendors, no matter how many currencies I had. And I'd eventually think, why am I doing this?

Too much emphasis on suffering and frustration. It's everywhere, the big list of stats that break gear for no other reason than to break gear. The map mods that make them unplayable, downsides to everything. Magic find being a thing.

So basically lack of crafting and the multitude of negative mechanics you have to suffer through.

Currently I don't see many aspects of the game that a majority of people are happy with at all.
Was getting intensely bored with the lack of interesting build variety(not to mention lack of MTX I already paid for), and waiting for GGG to be more transparent and vocal about plans that showed they were at least headed in the right direction.

Then POE got its update, and that being the far superior game right now in terms of content, builds I actually want to play, and QoL, it drew me back.

I'm trying to find a way to phrase this next bit without getting the hammer or redactions...

But I have lost all faith in a specific member of the dev team, and I'll likely not have interest in 2 again until this unnamed individual takes a back seat and allows others to step up. I believe this individual has lost touch with what the player base want from the game, and they're incapable of setting their own ego aside for the benefit of the IP.
Trials, loot and end game sucks.
I'm still playing
Still playing. It's a fun game.
I stopped playing when they stopped working on the game.

Its really that simple.

I bought this with the advertised approx 6 month estimation on EA to be their timeline, and assumed that content would be coming out as fast as we could get to it in game...

Holy was I ever wrong.

Between that and their pathetic "fixes" taking near a month per now and fixing virtually nothing... I see no point. Its still going to be months before we get another content drop.

One update in 7 months.
Because of JR arrogant attitude towards players.
1 XP loss , no point in playing after 91-92
2 nonsense deaths
3 loot sucks, nothing usable
4 crafting is gambling, any worthwhile gear i have to trade for
5 defense is broken
6 no new game plus option, would like to try more classes but going through the game twice is boring
I stopped playing because I’d rather support a game where the developers actually respect the players and their feedback. Instead, these devs ignored the community’s concerns at a critical time—when we were clearly pointing out serious issues. And what did they do? Took a vacation while the game crumbled.
That silence, that lack of urgency, made everything feel pointless. A great game was turned into a mess, not because of the players, but because the people behind it stopped listening and stopped caring.
And now, after most of the player base has already left, they’re trying to fix things piece by piece—but only after the damage is done and the trust is gone.
