Five Weeks into 0.2.0, POE2 is Down 93.2% Players All Time & 83.9% from Patch Launch

Seeing how they can let a major feature sit completely broken and unusable (specters) for 2 months. It's the same feeling I got when nothing worked in d4 and stayed that way for 4 months at a time. There is literally NO DIFFERENCE in how they treat the development.

Major bummer and tons of respect forever gone.

Its funny to see POE1 players whinning around saying poe2 has no playerbase (while its huge compared to poe1) and asking GGG to repeat the poe1 formula because THAT would make the player base grow.

No one is complaining that it has "no playerbase".....the complaint is the LOSS of playerbase. Which is valid.

Nor are they saying PoE 2 should "copy" PoE 1, but they should certainly learn from its success and longevity. The "complaints" come from the perception that PoE 2 is learning and following the WRONG lessons from the predecessor

PoE 1 has grown and continues to grow, meanwhile all data we have is that PoE 2 is bleeding. Granted its early in the lifetime, but its important to discuss. Trends have a habit of continuing and worsening.

The fact that PoE 2 has higher overall players is also quite debatable...We will only really know what's true on next PoE 1 league release....there is significant burnout right now with a year-long Settlers league.

IT literally lost steam for the first 3 years and stayed stagnant. It was not until 6-7 years into POE 1 did it start to rise well.
