5-10 points are enough to take passives that give you like ~30+ more damage or enough attributes to take better gear. What kind of comment is that even, am I talking to AI?

Yep, sometimes you couldn't escape monsters because they are faster than player and if you rushed by pack of monster you couldn't open the portal instantly. Also, didn't you heard nothing about Breach or Delirium?

The issue with a response like this is that it doesn't actually tackle the issue they're bringing up.
If those passives are so valuable for your build, why can't you remove some less effective points elsewhere to opt into these passives instead? This is why they're asking for a full tree, and not just "name some passives worth taking".

The issue with this entire chain of comments is that it's a common tactic by the pro-xp loss crowd to derail a conversation into theory crafting build improvements and away from the principle that people don't like losing progress that they've earned in prior maps.

Pretty easy proving you wrong: If you're playing a spear-amazon, "Impair" would give you boost, but, oh wait, you're not even near that node.

Hmm, that's good point
I could just take +25 attributes for that 5 points that give me ability to take more high skill gems or better gear due to strong attributes restrictions

Simple example:
I'll take +25 attributes, it is make my character stronger? It will, that's just fact. 5 passives > 0 passives
