XP loss is the least of PoE2 problems
That would be okay if the deaths weren't so usually unfair

We should focus on

FIX THE GAME, MAKE IT FUN

instead of minor things like this.

Weird. Works 100% of the time for me.


It's bugged. There are also a lot more frequent graphical rendering issues that make things like hazards (caltrops, spear wall) appear and disappear randomly as the character moves. I mention this because my character died quickly 3 times in a row on the same map just by walking into things I can't see. In those 3 times, my Omen remained active (red outline) in my inventory.

Ironically, since I was leery of more XP loss (4 goddamn bars lost FFS), I thought to do the Trials of Sekhmas but changed my mind and (stupidly) switched to the Trials of Chaos instead . And what do you know, character death at stage 2 just by walking into something invisible again.

And lo and behold, the #$%@@#$% Omen triggered. What a FPOS of a game.
3 times last level (level 96) my Omen of Amelortion never worked. THis is the one thing that made me stop playing this game. its punishes you even after buying items to mitigate the unfair xp pentaly

Unfortunately it isn't rocket science to deduce people who defend this feature are the ones least affected by it.

Those people bro don't know how to play. They have no skills as gamers. As you said one finger use is enough for them to call it game. If they played with crossbow they would beg kneeled for abolishing xp loss. But one click erasing the whole screen everything it's easier and fun.
