I really don't get why everyone keeps ignoring this and spouting "just play, content will come".
As said, 100 times already... we can't.
EU servers haven't worked for over a month... I really don't know how much clearer the statement can be. Even if you missed the thousands of posts on it.
I saw his casual response to it last night "we need to get onto the data centers about that" so they haven't even started looking in to it...

Due to this complain of 1000s of player they've invented the Early Access model....means you can pay a small fee to participate the Beta.
The problem is that many people nowdays completely forgot the reason beihind EA or don't even know this and this leads to comments like yours.
The game is in BETA, half of the stuff is not even in the game yet and everything will come together as soon as it's implemented....just chill & playtest the game in it's current but very uncomplete form (and give construcitve feedback) or chill and wait till 1.0 release if you want a complete game. ;)
The problem is that the moment companies decided to monetize unfinished games, they opened the flood gates.
A lot of people also seem to forget that "selling a product" comes with consequences, i.e. people starting to evaluate the worth of said product. It doesn't matter how it's labeled at that point. Money was exchanged, and with that certain expectations are set.
At this point, Early Access and Beta are the same for all intents and purposes. Enough companies have co-opted these words to make any historic differences meaningless.
Early access is a FUNDING MODEL. It has ALWAYS been a way to monetize an unfinished game, to get funding to continue development. From the very first use of Early Access it has ALWAYS been a funding model for medium and small developers that don't have major publishers behind them.
Big companies, such as Blizzard, have used the term occasionally to sell you access 3 days prior to full release but that does not change anything. Early access means a game in an unfinished state (often beta, but can be even earlier).
Minecraft was the first major game to use the funding model of paid alpha testing. Valve was the first to use Early Access when the launched Steam Early Access in 2013.

Like they charged $30 for something that has more content and polish than 95% of other triple A games while proceeding to give you free content updates for life after that. Please stop this weird fascination with wanting to be a victim...over a video game no less.
EU Servers have been unplayable for over a month now... I couldn't play the bit of content their is, even if I wanted to.
No i did not spend 'hours' watching some streams and interviews, I have better things to do.
Server problems are a different issue, and I'm fortunate enough to not play on EU servers so I don't have any. Therefore I haven't looked into the cause.
You "having better things to do" than research something yet just enough time to complain about said thing, where if you did the research you would have known ahead of time what you were actually talking about is quite funny to me. Notice how I haven't looked at the EU server issues and therefore am not commenting on them, you see how that works?
Willful ignorance isn't an excuse to make proclamations and assertions because "feelings". Such is the status quo with people today though, why look into things when you can just randomly be angry at stuff instead.

Interesting, I do have *sometimes* lag or stuttering, but I just change the server and I am ok (all on EU).
Now, either some players are just so unlucky that they cannot have a good servers day, or just the worst kind of network in the world. Or, maybe, some kind of weird interactions between the servers and certain devices, who knows the real cause.
