Abyss Rare Monster Modifiers can't be beaten by melee as it drains Life and prevents healing

Please remove this nonsense out the fkn game. Who in your team thought it was a good idea. You guys want to add a degree of difficulty to something that doesn’t need it and add some dumb shit like this to the game. REMOVE IT. It’s fkn dumb
100% remove the anti-heal mod, this was reserved for massively telegraphed uber pinnacle boss mechanics in PoE1 for a damn good reason, not some random rare that you can't even see the effect until you try to heal and then 0.5 seconds later realise your life flasks did nothing and then just die with no counterplay.
Even as a blood mage I cant even attack as my health is instantly depleted. This modifier is garbage.
Glad I'm not the only one with this issue. Those rares are just a map ender for me. Nothing I can do to beat them. really takes the fun out of the game when there's a decent chance of it being in every map.
+1 this is totally insane, when u notice that ur fighting against a rare with these modifiers and try to retreat to heal, they teleport to u... dude...
+1, PLEASE remove. No counter for this. Ends the run. I'm loving Abyss, but this is the worst kind of nonsense
+1 for removal of the mechanic I'm playing Chayula monk with a lot of leech but I was constantly dying to those degen mob I can't even play Abyssal mechanic anymore if I don't want my character to die instantly.
+1 just killed my warrior on hc ssf. Fucking stupid.
Going to bump this thread since this is a thing I am constantly getting merced by with my warrior. There is no counterplay to this teleporting death aoe. Either there is some error in the code that is causing it to cause more damage than intended, or someone on the team did not do proper QA for this modifier on higher tier maps.
Honestly, this mechanic "Soul Siphoner" is absolute trash. Its basically, damage over seconds, CI cannot counter it, the abyssal elites can teleport to you with it, and there is three of them and they can spawn hyper beams and endless spikes while sucking your soul? At what point can you win if just walking is death. You would need max evasion and +500/sec health regen just to fight it, but again who would know if this works when building the character needs balance to play the game and not a focus to beat a shitty mechanic. This update has been both enjoyable and disappointing, mostly the latter. You might as well just not let us play the game if you're goal is just for us to die as soon as we confront the abyssal elites and unique monsters.
