Just logged out because of this mob. Zero chance I can beat this on monk, or probably any other character honestly as it teleports. I’m done with this game until devs decide to treat my game time respectfully. The lazy developers at GGG haven’t done anything that a dav one of school dev can’t do.
Creative a teleporting massive life draining mob. Easy. Not difficult, no hard mechanics. Simply lazy way to kill. After death effects? Lazy. Massive ground damage often hidden by ground clutter? Lazy. Not hard. Refuse to allow bleeding/poison resists then have entire zones where mobs use that early in the game? Not hard to develop, it’s lazy. Knowing a player can’t resist damage then using that all over is simply lazy. This deadly aura mob was the last straw for me. SMH. |

1+ Even after the nerf, it is still the ONLY mob that will trash my run. Having a death dependant on a rng mod on a mob is very frustration in SSF as melee.

I didn't even know it was nerfed. Didn't see any change to how dogshit this is at any point. I mean they had yellows where it prevents healing above 50%, that's at least somehow reasonable, but this, this isn't good

+1, both of my builds can deal with those abominations, but both of them are ranged builds and I still have to kite, hit-n-run and pray I can escape in time from this death trap. I get used to block such mobs with minions\companions\totems, so they attack them instead of me, but still it's kind of lottery...
Similar problem with Abyssal Undying will mobs - they simply bullet sponges, they eat more damage than T3 bosses... Not really fun to have those, especially when they appear in boss arenas mid fight (yet another bug with Abyssal mechanics). |

It wasn't until I read this thread that I realized what was even happening to me. I'm playing a warrior with 225 life regen per second and these things just drain my entire HP bar in a couple of seconds. I can't run or roll away fast enough. It's just about the only thing that can kill me in this patch and I can't even see it. Way, way, way overtuned.

Thankfully I found this thread explaining what's going on. This mechanic absolutely ruined 2 maps for me. It's just unplayable. Fix this please, it's a total 100% bug and should not exist.
