I don`t understand WHY ARE PEOPLE COMPLAINING about difficulty so much...

I have 60+ hours so far in the new league and I like the difficulty. It`s nice to finally have a game where you need to think and pay attention.

I fear that, with the loot update, it won`t feel that good to find an item anymore.

Of course, it has some other things which should be changed/improved (like Trade, crafting, UI, etc), but difficulty should not be one of them.
(POE2 should not be POE1.5, GGG, keep it slower, more tactical)

it shouldnt be as easy as last epoch thats boring but it needs to be a little bit less punishing as its just not enjoyable 99% of the time

I 100% disagree with that. There are plenty of arpgs out there, including poe1 for that

In my opinion, poe2 can be as hard as they want as long as it's really a challenge and not some artificial way to increase difficult such as turning mobs into damage sponges
The problem is poe1 is dead, that's why we're here. Poe2 is garbage atm for peeps with 60 hours played lmao. New league will show what players with at least 2k hours really want to play.
P.s. dunno why, but I think poe1 will die too with new vision and new ideas. Hope I wrong but bad feeling they change everything so we can't play game we really like anymore can't go out
P.p.s. played poe1 from the beginning, except irl needs some moments of time in my life, so I'm not yesterday boy and never exit it, never feedback on forum, never cry, even Nemesis hc for example 🤣 this game was perfect. Poe2 not

I think problem is with the loot system. Too random. I mentioned this on my feedback already, but basically, there are too many loot possibilities for multiple classes, so getting a useful item, is way too hard. Crafting system, is not there, disenchanting system is useless. You can basically reduce most of the times drops of a boss, to 1 regal shard GUARANTEED, after patch.
It's simple different people have different desires, some like solve the challenges which the game offers, some want a item editor. Some want to have a meaningful fight bosses and some just want stock virtual currency. And of course these are just two extremes, there's dozens of groups between.

I don't mind the difficulty, I hate the randomness. The more you progress the harder it is to improve your gear, even slightly. The most you can do is farm "slot machine rolls" and somewhat mitigate your probability of getting good rolls with the recombinator and super rare omens. Rolling five stats, much less six, of what you need are low enough, and then you need good rolls on those rolls. We are talking about lottery level probability for good gear and no control at all. Bring the bench back I say.

Is not difficulty...it is about FLUSTRATION
Try reach lvl 90+ + end game

If they separate loot from difficulty I don't really see the point of difficulty

Without any challenge I can't see me being too bothered to push on

Pinnacle bosses aren't really what I'm looking for
