This right here is the TRUTH . Grim Dawn is the peak of ARPG with a great community , can be modded & played offline , great crafting system and a balanced build diversity . I sank another 3 or 4 hundreds hours into GD since the travesty that was the last PoE 2 updates and i can't wait for the GD expansion this year .

Yep real OG men : playable offline without a fucking shop just the way we were used to play D1 , D2 and all the classic H&S games including Grim Dawn until Blizzard & co decided to milk the ARPG gamers the same way MMO gamers were milked .
Which means GD got an actual working loot tables and a working crafting system unlike PoE 2 . Disabling trading on PoE 2 only highlight how pathetic it's foundations are as a ARPG game .

All that matters is this : Crate Studio did very well with GD , their game is solid on all fronts and i really don't want to see the MMO clientele , gold traders , chinese bot farms (etc ..) that infected the ARPG genre to infect the GD community as well .

Sorry to OP because I think the point of my post about release cadences and patience was missed and it kind of derailed the topic… my bad…

Basically, let PoE2 have its unique, combo-including, slower, more considered combat. It makes those early game bosses and mini bosses some of the best casual encounters in aRPGs. Hopefully, like Jonathan said in the interview, they will redesign/buff skills so that the skill pool isn’t so skewed towards combo setup skills, which will then hopefully open up the number of viable build options without going all the other way to making everything a 1-button blasting build.

PoE1 still exists and will be getting updated soon, so with a bit of patience, all the blasters can go back to having their fun there.

Poe1 was a good game but common guys... How long did you expect playing this game? This game has outdated graphs and the gameplay is very old and people got tired same things again abd again.

Poe2 needs to change some things that ruining gameplay experience. If Devs don't listen what people suggest then the game sooner or later will be with 2k players.

PoE is a hack-and-slash game where players destroy enemies with fewer attacks and strengthen themselves with a lot of loot.
PoE2 is currently receiving a lot of criticism because it is trying to move in the opposite direction.
In other words, I don't think your argument applies.
The build in the video you gave as an example does indeed kill enemies with one click, but on the other hand, there are very few builds like that.
Also, you should not ignore the effort and investment it took to complete those builds.

Effort or not, this is not what game mented to be. One click screen clearing isn't something that people will follow as an example. If they want a relaxed game, Poe is the right fit for them. But mixing broken builds and not broken builds players in a party, it will be a disaster for the second.

Devs should focus to bring balance in the next big patch. Another failure will destroy the game for ever.
Getting rid of trade will be the best change for PoE.
