Player power is so high that it is ruining the game. 1-button screen clear is BORING.

it takes quite a bit of gear to 1 click clear end game content with fully juiced maps and distilled.

it's the track to get the gear and the reward = fast farming. Also mapping is just one part of end game, you got bossing too which your 1 click clear won't do anything to the boss.

The game requires quick clears AND quick bossing, or you will not survive due to the enemies running at you 1000mph with 2-3 shot killing and same as bosses.
I levelled fubgun's ls/ serpent build to see what the fuss was about.

by level 80 I was in juiced T15s clearing way faster than my 95 ed lich.

bosses take about the same time although it's clunky and gets one shot pretty easily.

in summary, it's a boring defenceless build and no wonder people are whining about this game being both too easy and too difficult at the same time
Play a worse build a die to bs game mechanics, definitely will be not boring, just maddening :)
Some people like the style, if it's so boring to you, go play something off meta and grow up, stop crying about other people's experience and how they want to have fun.
The game won't be able to be balanced and appease people who want to play like this and those that don't, and the supposed aim originally was to not have screen clearing builds

Where is the meaningful combat?
Who is the target audience for this gameplay? Monkeys?
What does the game even requires of me, to push one button to finish the game?

Mark and Jonnathan in 0.2 live interview clearly said that if there is a build killing pinnacle bosses in seconds, it deserves a prompt nerf. Why there were no nerfs to this?

Why is PoE 2 abandoning it's direction and going for the "candy shower" just to shut up the kids/streamers crying to get the instant gratification and have all obstacles removed?

This isn't a game anymore, it's a walking and loot picking simulator, nothing else is required of me, no challenge.

And here is the major problem:
How do you attempt to challenge these builds?
- More one shot mechanics
- More boss invulnerable phases
- More on death effects
Stuff that everyone hates, but that's the only thing that can even remotely touch these builds, but will negatively impact every other build and player in the game.

The more player power you give to players now, the harder it will be to take the player power down in next patch. Just like giving a candy to a kid and then realizing it's not good for them so you need to take it back.

I understand some people want to feel stupidly OP and they enjoy that kind of gameplay, all right. PoE 1 is already like that, go play that game.

Stay true to your initial PoE 2 plans.
Don't get forced by few crying streamers wanting to push-out just another BROKEN BUILD video to get more views.

Player power needs to be nerfed down... by a lot.



Still EA...

They cannot balance anything perfectly right from the start, if they want to give us the sense of being able to create something our own.

And all these characters have a fairly good investement into them to run that smooth.

The second is merely a EQ build with some extra jumps, prolly cast by mjolner, with cast on shock or something like that.

just leave the game
No one force you to one tap bosses or play one button. Why can't everyone play the way they ENYOJ??
I am a little upset that endgame does devolve into PoE 1's click to clear screens. It still feels better than 1 but does sadly lacks a lot of the impact that the campaign has. I'm hoping that it shifts closer to the core gameplay as it progresses through EA but I'm afraid the opposite will happen where the entire game just becomes PoE 1 again.
